Toronto, Oct. 28, 2010 – Interfast Inc., a leading global aircraft and specialty fastener distributor, today announced Peter Oleck has been promoted to President effective immediately and will join with CEO Douglas Woollings in managing the company.
“Peter has played an instrumental role in the growth of Interfast,” says Douglas Woollings, CEO of Interfast Inc. “He has actively supported our team in building Interfast’s presence in Asia, while managing Interfast’s U.S. operations. He also has spearheaded our focus to bring new levels of support to maintenance, repair and overhaul operations in the aerospace industry. His operational knowledge and strategic thinking is a tremendous asset.”
As President, Oleck will be responsible for directing the strategic growth of Interfast and overseeing operational aspects of the company.

Oleck, who joined Interfast in 2005, has more than 25 years of aerospace fastener industry experience. He has held many senior positions in the industry and his duties have ranged from supervision of financing, purchasing, accounting, and customer / vendor relations. Prior to entering the fastener industry, he was corporate loan officer for AmeriFirst Bank and also had taught history at the University of Virginia.
