Interfast Europe hires Jason Grey as Sales Director
Toronto, Oct. 28, 2010 – Interfast Inc., a leading global aircraft and specialty fastener distributor, today announced Jason Grey has been hired as sales director for Interfast Europe.
“Jason is a tremendous addition to our team who really understands the UK market and is very accomplished at building sales,” says Peter Oleck, president of Interfast Inc. “Jason has spearheaded European business development and sales teams with leading international fastener suppliers in our sector over the past 20 years. He has a track record that speaks for itself, significantly growing UK and European sales.”
Grey will be responsible for European sales initiatives focussed on aircraft manufacturers (OEM – original equipment manufacturers) and the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) markets.
“I see Interfast as the most capable, privately owned fastener distributor able to provide credible competition within the market sector after recent consolidations,” says Grey. “Interfast is globally well-positioned to support OEM and MRO customers with the increases in demand for fasteners that is broadly anticipated within the industry over the next few years.”
Prior to joining Interfast, Grey had served as the Business Development and Regional Sales Manager at a leading international fastener distributor, managing a large customer base across three internal sales teams in the UK and at Hamburg.
Grey’s appointment to sales director at Interfast Europe is effective Nov. 1, 2010.
Interfast Europe was established in September 2009, building a physical presence for Interfast to better service its aerospace and defence customers in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Switzerland.
