Self-Sealing Fasteners, Washers & Threadlockers
APM's patented, pre-assembled self-sealing screws and fasteners provide both fastening and sealing integrity in a single unit. Unique design features a resilient silicone O-ring held captive in a precision engineered groove under the head. Vibration-resistant and reusable screws, bolts and nuts withstand internal and external pressures/vacuum to 20,000+ psi. When vibration is an issue, APM offers a full line of self-locking add-ons (pellets, strips, patches). SEELOC® Washers are self-sealing, vibration-resistant washers, each having a silicone rubber section, molded and bonded to a stainless steel formed washer ideal for large or slotted holes.
Self-Sealing Screws
The APM SEELSKREW® is the original self-sealing screw designed and patented by APM. Our self-sealing screws are designed to seal out air, water, lubricants and other liquid or gaseous contaminants. They are available in many standard thread sizes and with optional sealing materials. When vibration is an issue, Our self-sealing screws can also be supplied with either self-locking pellets, strips or patches, black oxide, painted heads, or in a captivated (KAPTO-SKREW®) configuration. Sheet metal and other type self-sealing fasteners available on special order.

The APM SEELBOLT® is the original self-sealing bolt designed and patented by APM. The APM line of self-sealing bolts, screws, and nuts are designed to seal out air, water, lubricants and other liquid or gaseous contaminants. Our self-sealing bolts and screws are available in many standard thread sizes and with optional O-ring sealing materials. Self-sealing bolts and screws can also be supplied with either self-locking pellets, strips or patch, Black oxide, painted heads, or in a captivated (KAPTO-SKREW®) configuration. Sheet metal and other type fasteners available on special order.
Self-Sealing Locking Nuts
The APM SEELNUT® is the original self-sealing nut designed and patented by APM. Our self-sealing locking nuts are designed for use on all types of adjusting screws, threaded studs, and machine bolts in applications where leakage may occur due to extreme pressures.
Self-Sealing Rivets
SEELRIVETS® are self-sealing rivets, designed to seal out air, water, lubricants, and other liquid or gaseous contaminants. Installed like an ordinary rivet, our self-sealing rivets form a high-pressure seal while permitting metal-to-metal contact. Stock SEELRIVETS® are universal head furnished in aluminum alloy for various demanding applications.pe SRU SEELRIVETS® have the exact dimensions of AN470 and MS20470 rivets. Type SRC, 100° countersunk, flathead versions are also available as non-stock items. Other rivet types/materials and O-ring seal formulations are also available on special order.
Air & Water-Tight Bonded Self-Sealing Washers
The APM line of self-sealing washers and fasteners are designed to seal out air, water, lubricants and other liquid or gaseous contaminants.
SEELOC® self-sealing washers are vibration-resistant, each having a silicone rubber section, molded and bonded to a stainless steel formed washer. These self-sealing washers are designed for use with regular screws, bolts or studs for sealing panels and enclosures having large or irregular clearance holes or slots, and can also be used to seal openings of protruded mounting holes. Upon tightening, a seal is formed within the shank and threaded surface of the fastener as well as around the periphery of the washer face.
Threadlocking Enhancements
APM thread locking pellets are virtually impervious to a wide range of chemicals, water and motor fluids. They won’t dry, shrink or lose resiliency when exposed to commercial solvents, alcohol, gasoline, oil, caustic soda, and many other chemicals.
